Today we had the pleasure of enjoying an assembly led the wonderful Rev. Tim Watson. Each year, he visits Calshot and we celebrate the beginning of Christmas time together. He taught the children about why advent is important in the Christian religion and why it is celebrated. He lit an advent candle and told the children about the importance of having light and goodness in our world. He also shared the Christmas story but with an interactive twist, which the children really enjoyed.
