Today I hurry off to school,
to work and learn and play! 
I’m in a new class today,
what a happy day!

 

The first day of school is always an emotional one whether you are a student, teacher or parent/carer. Many of us have a mixture of excitement and nerves bubbling away inside of us. Here, at Calshot, it has been lovely to see so many smiling, happy faces back in our classrooms and on the playgrounds today. The children have had the opportunity to bond with their new teachers, get creative in their new classrooms and showcase ‘what they are made of’ on this beautiful, sunny Wednesday. We are all excited to find out what this academic year has in store for all of our wonderful pupils.

Remember children, always aim high!
