Today Year 3 have celebrated Roman Day as part of their ‘Courageous Celts and Ruthless Romans’ topic.

Arzoo said today was ‘fun and cool’. 

Alfie thought today was ‘fun and exciting’.

Elsie said today was ‘excellent and brilliant’.

Aryan thought today was exciting and fun.’

 

First, we did a Roman themed word search. Next, we created our own scratch art, to do this we had to colour our vase in wax crayons and then covered it with black paint. We will complete this project later on. After, we played the Medusa game and we had to avoid getting turned to stone. Later on, we went to the hall and sang our enthusiastic, awesome song ‘Just like a Roman’. We then finished off our morning with some excellent drama.

Izzah ‘My favourite bit was when we painted the Roman vases because it was fun and calming.’
