With only a few weeks left of this academic year, we have kicked off celebrating our pupils and their achievements in style. In assembly today the children were invited to celebrate all that they have achieved this school year. Each Key Stage had their own celebration assembly.

First of all, we looked back on attendance and pupils with the highest attendance received certificates that honoured their dedication and commitment to being in school. We felt especially proud and pleased to have some pupils who have been in school every day this year – wow! What an achievement.  Maybe that could be you next year, we shall see…

Next up, many pupils received special house point awards. At Calshot we have four houses. Challenger, Enterprise, Apollo and Discovery. Whenever the children impress an adult with their work and/or behaviour they are given house points. All these house points are tallied up at the end of every term and the pupils earn certificates, badges, prizes and even gift cards! There were many smiling faces leaving the hall at the end of assembly today.
