World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day

On Monday, the pupils of Calshot celebrated the importance of having a happy and healthy mind. The children came to school in their own clothes and brought in donations for the charity Mind. We managed to raise some money for such a fantastic charity.

Here at Calshot, we encourage pupils to always aim high and speak up if something is upsetting them. In each classroom we have a worry box where the children are able to post any concerns they have.

but it wasn’t just current pupils who were doing their bit to bring some positivity to our school. Ex-pupil Mariah is still aiming high and working hard to keep the community clean and tidy. She took part in a litter pick outside the school grounds and also made book marks for the children in CKs. What a lovely way to share some positivity, thanks Mariah!
