Today the children completed their annual fundraising challenge.
Key Stage 1 took on Atterbury’s Assault Course with a little help from some kind and supportive Year 6 pupils. They balanced, ran, jumped, leaped, army crawled and finished with a shot at goal. They demonstrated their strength, determination and sporty skills and we are so proud of their efforts.
Key Stage 2 took on Wingrove’s Wipeout… and try as he did Mr Wingrove didn’t wipe anyone out this year (don’t worry Sir, there is always next year). We did how ever see lots of red cheeked, determined children trying their very best to complete the challenge course that was set out before them as many times as possible.
This year we are raising money for the school fund which will pay for new reading books for all pupils to read, love and enjoy. We are so proud of the children’s athletic efforts and very thankful for your sponsorship.
